“I highly recommend Katy Plumbing Co. Heating & Air! Our home is only 8 years old, and recently our AC developed a leaking coil. We initially called another HVAC company, whose technician told us the coil warranty had expired and recommended replacing our entire HVAC system because it used older refrigerant. The estimate was approximately $18,000. Thankfully, I contacted the manufacturer myself. Because I had registered our AC units when we purchased our home in 2018, we actually had a 10-year warranty. Once the warranty was confirmed, the situation changed from an $18,000 system replacement to a warranty coil replacement costing a little over $2,600. We decided to get a second opinion from Katy Plumbing Co. Heating & Air. The tech, Roosevelt, confirmed that we only needed the coil, verified the 10-year warranty, and came out the very next business day to replace it. What impressed us most was their honesty, knowledge, and professionalism. They didn't try to sell us a new system when it wasn't necessary. They simply diagnosed the problem and fixed what actually needed to be fixed. Honesty trumps everything else even price. We will definitely be using Katy Plumbing Co.
